Meg Munn pulls a pint to mark Sheffield pub’s rebirth

Sheffield Heeley MP Meg Munn raised a glass in celebration after a city pub reopened its doors to the public.

The MP made the visit to the New Inn on Hemsworth Road following a £110,000 refurbishment scheme overseen by licensees Clive and Andrea Fletcher and owners Punch Taverns.

The work saw major changes take place both inside and outside, including a new seating plan, a new bar and a new beer garden.

Clive and Andrea gave Meg a tour of the premises and also invited the MP to pour a pint behind the bar.

“Many of us enjoy a trip to the local pub and it’s fantastic to see such a large investment at the New Inn.”
